About Me

Hi, my name is Mayleen Cantu! I am a Dallas-based graphic designer and illustrator who specializes in branding and visual identity. I love creating fun and bubbly designs to brighten someone’s day. My work incorporates pastel color palettes because they carry connotations of happiness, innocence, and simplicity, reminiscent traits of childhood. The inspiration for my work is rooted in my own childhood where I developed an appreciation for creating meaningful artwork to make people happy, even on the gloomiest of days. When I’m not designing, I love exploring the great outdoors and going to new places with my fiancé and family. I also love playing video games across a variety of platforms with my favorite being Pokémon!

Project Description

Braum’s À La Mode covers the exploration and redesign of Braum’s visual identity. Design research findings help propel the company’s brand toward a modern direction, helping it stand out in the ice cream industry.
