About Me

Hello, my name is Alejandro Mercado. I am a Texas based user experience and visual designer from the DFW area. My work embodies the “less is more” mentality, whether it be through UI/UX work or designs made for social media branding. Many people will sacrifice functionality to be unique, whereas I choose to ensure whatever new ideas spring forth do not hinder the experience I want to create. This focus on functionality causes me to lean towards minimalistic designs with my individual flair without jeopardizing the overall experience. Through the display of efficiency in my work, I hope to inspire people to challenge designs of the past to improve lives in the modern day.

Project Description

GGFGC is an app mockup that centers around the connecting players in the fighting game community to locate tournaments, interact with the community, and improve their skills through matchmaking.

Don’t be afraid to experiment with electives, you might find something you enjoy more than you expected.
