About Me

My name is Shajia Awan, and I am an ATEC and Psychology student at UT Dallas. I have lived in the Dallas area since I was 7 years old and have navigated so many important experiences and events here. During my time at UTD, the exploration and discovery of my identity within my ethnicity and religion was always very important and enlightening to me. Outside of critical media studies and psych research and theories, I love watching films, going to concerts, and spending all my time on social media!
