Mason and Zachary Zibulewsky

About Me

Mason: I’m Mason Zibulewsky, senior ATEC student with a special interest in video editing and sound design. Though I have always loved the visual arts, it wasn’t until my time at UTD that I realized the critical importance of editing and sound design to turn a good story into a compelling and memorable one. One of my earliest influences was Ray Harryhausen, who inspired me to make my own stop motion video when I was younger. I hope to someday work in the film and video production industry to use the skills I learned at UTD to help others make their stories stand out. I hope to produce content that is both entertaining and educational, particularly for those with special needs.

Zachary: My name’s Zachary Zibulewsky. I was born near Dallas, but I spent most of my years in Bellingham, Washington before moving back. In that time, I’ve been kept on a steady diet of cartoons, monster movies, and nature documentaries. One of the best things in life, in my opinion, is meeting new people around my age, with like-minded interests, and us exchanging different ideas and perspectives between one another. My pastimes include writing and drawing out my ideas for when I get into the animation industry. Specifically, I am interested in becoming a writer/producer/director, or showrunner, perhaps with a storyboarding career to start. For this capstone project, I utilized my interests, as well as my understanding of the animation pipeline.

Project Description
