About Me

Hello, my name is Elizabeth Nguyen! I am a graphic designer, illustrator, and Final Fantasy 14 enthusiast. I get my inspiration from my love of my favorite game Final Fantasy 14 and everyday interactions. My aspirations include working for a tight knit creative studio to help create meaningful stories, to one day open my own studio, and open my own shop to sell my work. When I am not designing or catching up on studies, you can find me playing FFXIV, listening to music or drawing for myself. My capstone consists of my illustrations that I have created based off of areas you can visit in Final Fantasy 14 to create a simple travel guide.

Project Description

The Othard Travel Guide is a cute and simple travel guide inspired by Final Fantasy 14’s Stormblood continent expansion, Othard. The guide itself is to help new travelers easily navigate through the new continent without having to feel overwhelmed by the various rich cultures that reside in the Far East.

What is one piece of advice you would provide to new ATEC students?

When your professors say network, go for it. Get out of your comfort zone a little. You’ll discover interesting things along the way. I promise.
