About Me

Hello, my name is Ashley. I am an artist, coffee snob and a traveler. Since my time at UTD, I’ve learned and gained many new experiences as an artist and have been able to broaden my knowledge about what it means to be someone in design. Design was just the beginning of my interests but has led me to the world of graphic design and illustration. When I’m not on my tablet creating art, I am usually at a new café because of my love for coffee; or at my next trip destination which is typically near a beach to fully unwind and recharge.

Project Description

Self-love Wins is a digitally illustrated short story of the insecurities that we live with shown from another perspective. Wanting to fit society’s beauty standard, our main character, Lola, will embark on the struggles of this journey, in hopes of finding the empowerment she deserves and her version of self-love.
