About Me

Hi everyone! My name I Sammi. I enjoy learning new aspects about design and UI/UX, am an animal crossing enthusiast, and love traveling! I was born and raised here in the DFW area and chose to attend UTD so I wouldn’t miss the little moments with family and friends. As a collaborative worker, I enjoy seeing how a group of individuals can turn a small idea into something greater than they ever imagined! Outside of learning new design techniques, I like to take road trips and travel to new places. Though there’s only so far you can go in a day by car, as long as I’m on the road experiencing something new, I will always enjoy the destination.

Project Description

The Wonder Genie is the latest mobile application/product used to track yoour parked vehicle. Through Bluetooth connection between your mobile phone and the portable USB car charger, searching for your parked vehicle in a crowded parking lot will no longer be a hassle.

What is one piece of advice you would provide to new ATEC students?

Always work ahead of what’s on your schedule! Staying 2 steps ahead of what’s to come will allow you to have extra free time down the road if you run into any unexpected problems, ESPECIALLY if you’re working on a project! Also… The due date is NOT the do date!

What’s your favorite memory of ATEC?

When people from Disney came to visit in Fall 2019 and we got to see scenes from Frozen 2 and how they were made before the movie was released.
