Branson McCown

About Me

My name is Branson, and I love video games, art, and design. I have always found myself loving to meet other people, and learn what I can from each person I meet. Video games have played a large part of my life, and I am always excited to see new game designs being used and meet those that are innovating new ways to play those games. Outside of gaming, I like to hang out with my friends and do new things together with them, those things being trying out new foods, drinks and gaming together.

What is one piece of advice you would provide to new ATEC students?

When it comes to working on things for your class, even if it isn’t in your major, try as hard as you can to not procrastinate. Focus on the work that needs to be done, and set aside the time you need to finish it. Even if it seems hard, its always better to sit down and work than skip it.

What will you miss most about UTD after graduation?

There are a lot of great people at UTD. All of them are unique and always have new things to introduce you to. Meeting these people, and what they can provide to my own insights and life is something that I will miss.
